Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) -- More than 1.4 million petitioners call for impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol in the puppet ROK, making the impeachment an established fact. Exasperated with this, puppet Yoon instigated the ruling people power party's denial of the proposed puppet National Assembly hearing on impeachment and the use of violence against pro-impeachment NA members.

Such dirty last-ditch effort of the Yoon-led regime getting desperate in maintaining its power hanging by a thread against the public call is only adding fuel to the impeachment-oriented public protests.

The 98th candlelight rally and demo took place in Seoul on the theme "Let's bring down the Yoon regime keen on insult-trading and dogfight!" on July 13.

Terming the people power party an accomplice in Yoon's evil deeds, speakers there accused it of denying the impeachment hearing, insisting on Yoon's innocence and working overtly and covertly to change the impeachment-oriented public sentiment.

Yoon, driven to a tight corner, attempts escape by pushing the situation to the brink of war through tightened alliance and frequent war games with the U.S. and Japan, they charged.

They called on the public to go all out for impeaching Yoon, saying they can never pardon the warmonger wearing a time-bomb-laden vest in a bid to tide over the ruling crisis and endanger the lives of people.

They marched along streets of Seoul, chanting such slogans as "Let's bring down the Yoon group keen on insult-trading and dogfight!"

During the march, the participants were excited by the news that the number of petitioners calling for impeachment of puppet Yoon exceeded 1.4 million.

Earlier, the emergency action denying the presidential veto and opposition parties held a joint meeting to protest the war games, military alliance with the U.S. and Japan, escalation of war danger, misrule, control of speech, etc. being pursued by the puppet president. -0-
