Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- DPRK players are proving successful at the U17, U23 Asian Wrestling Championships 2025 being held in Vietnam.

The championships brought together men and women players from over 20 countries and regions including the DPRK, Uzbekistan and India.

On June 20, Kim Kwang Hyon, Kim Ji Hyang and An Jin Ju won gold medals in the 57kg category of freestyle wrestling and 53kg and 57kg categories of women wrestling under 23.

Meanwhile, Kim Chung Ryol placed third in the 55kg category of greco-roman under 23. -0-
