DPRK Wrestler Snatches Gold Medal
Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- DPRK player Ri Se Ung bagged a gold medal at the 2025 Asian Wrestling Championship.
The championship being held in Amman of Jordan brought together more than 360 excellent men and women wrestlers from 20-odd countries and regions including the DPRK, Mongolia and Kazakhstan.
On March 26, Ri Se Ung advanced into the finals, beating all his rivals in the greco-roman 60 kg category.
He took the first place, beating his Uzbek rival 6:4 in the finals.
Meanwhile, Ro Yu Chol, Kim Chan and Son Man Gwang of the DPRK grabbed bronze medals in the greco-roman 55kg, 63kg and 67kg categories respectively. -0-
