Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a congratulatory message from Hamad Bin Isa al-Khalifa, king of the Kingdom of Bahrain, on September 1.

The message said that the king was pleased to extend sincere congratulations and best wishes to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on his own behalf and on behalf of the government and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the occasion of the national day of the friendly DPRK.

The king wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and hoped that the DPRK people would achieve steady progress and prosperity under his wise leadership. -0-
