Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and the ROK military gangsters launched the large-scale joint military exercises Freedom Shield 2025, an aggressive and confrontational war rehearsal, on March 10.

The warmongers are scheming to apply the OPLAN 2022 aimed at a "preemptive attack" on the nuclear weapons facilities of the DPRK in the current exercises under the "guidelines for nuclear deterrence and nuclear operations" announced last year.

The scale of exercises is further expanded than last year as it includes 16 joint field mobile drills of brigade-level and above in the whole areas of ground, sea, air and space and 238 "United Defense Exercises" involving the puppet police, government agencies, local self-governing bodies and even civilians.

This year, the U.S. and the ROK military gangsters are getting more frantic in the military exercises than ever before. The largest-ever joint military exercises, kicked off again this year, clearly show who is the arch criminal aggravating the situation on the Korean peninsula under the eyes of the world. -0-
