Pyongyang, April 5 (KCNA) -- A reception was given by the DPRK embassy in Moscow on March 31 to mark the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Present there on invitation were Andrei Klimov, member of the Bureau of the Supreme Council of the United Russia Party, personages of the government, political parties, parliament and institutions of Russia including the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Party for Peace and Unity and foreign diplomatic envoys in Russia.

On hand there were Sin Hong Chol, DPRK ambassador to Russia, and members of his embassy.

The participants laid a flower basket and bouquets before a photo dealing with the revolutionary activity of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and paid tribute to him.

Then, they looked round the photos showing the revolutionary careers and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and the exploits performed by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un in developing the DPRK-Russia relations of friendship, works of the peerlessly great men and photos dealing with the invincible might and proud development of the DPRK.

Speeches were made there.

Sin Hong Chol referred to the fact that the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea invariably held in high esteem the great Comrade Kim Jong Un at its top post in reflection of the firm faith, unanimous will and desire of all the DPRK people.

He stressed that the WPK would make a positive contribution to further developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries by boosting cooperation with several political parties of Russia including the United Russia Party.

Andrei Klimov said that the reelection of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea serves as an event showing the inheritance of generation once again and promising the rosy future of the two countries.

He added that under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un, the DPRK people have still made great achievements despite all sorts of obstacles by evil forces including imperialism and the DPRK is now advancing towards future with confidence. -0-
