Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un received a letter of thanks from Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), on Feb. 22.

Ho Jong Man in the letter expressed his deep thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Un for bestowing the great benevolence and vitality upon old him again while wishing that he would enjoy a long life in good health for the rosy future of Chongryon and the prosperity of the Korean community in Japan and would get all glory together with the prosperous motherland.

He expressed his firm pledge to resolutely defend Chongryon, part of the DPRK, and devote all his energy and soul to ushering in a new era of the comprehensive development of Chongryon and its prosperity along with the homeland.

And he manifested his will to further consolidate Chongryon as a dignified overseas revolutionary organization of the DPRK, a reliable flank front of the Korean revolution and a powerful overseas combat unit and lead the Koreans in Japan to be members of the family of the Marshal who regard loyalty and patriotism as their creed even in an alien land by thoroughly implementing the compatriots-first principle in the whole of patriotic activities.

He said that he would fly the flag of the DPRK higher in the van of all Chongryon officials to defend the dignity and destiny of Koreans in Japan and definitely guarantee the happiness of compatriots and the future of their posterity, as instructed by the Marshal.

Only when Marshal Kim Jong Un is in good health, the Korean revolution will dynamically advance towards the high peak of communism so that a bright ideal society desired by the people can be built on the homeland and Chongryon and Koreans in Japan can greet the day of great victory, the letter stressed. -0-
