Month of Anti-U.S. Joint Struggle Observed Abroad

Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- Political parties and organizations of different countries made public statements on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

The New Yugoslav Communist Party and the Serbian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said in a joint statement:

Under the wise leadership of the great Comrade Kim Il Sung, the DPRK people fought bravely to repel the most cruel and destructive imperialists' war of the 20th century.

The Korean War was not merely a confrontation between the two countries but the fierce one between socialism and imperialism and between the independent and sovereign forces and the dominationist forces.

We strongly denounce the sanctions and blockade, threats of aggression and military provocation by the U.S. imperialists on the DPRK lasting for decades.

The Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, the Pakistan Association for Self-Reliance Studies and organizations for the study of the Juche Idea said in a joint statement:

The Korean War in the 1950s was from A to Z a war of aggression of the US imperialists who were trying to occupy Korea and, furthermore, dominate Asia and the rest of the world.

The Korean War was the first war to herald the defeat of imperialism by inflicting a shameful defeat on the U.S. imperialists who were boasting of being the world's "strongest".

Thanks to President Kim Il Sung, an ever-victorious and iron-willed brilliant commander with matchless courage and pluck, the DPRK people could win the three-year-long hard-fought war.

The Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand in its statement recalled that the Korean War in the 1950s was the most severe and disastrous war unprecedented in the world history of wars, and noted:

The world progressives do not want the breakout of the second Korean war.

We extend firm solidarity to the DPRK people, fully supporting the sincere efforts of the DPRK to prevent a war. -0-
