Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- Seminars took place in Pakistan, Romania, Britain, Austria, Serbia, DR Congo and Mexico between August 31 and September 7 on the occasion of the 77th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Speeches were made at the seminars attended by personages of political parties and organizations, members of the Juche idea study organizations and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in relevant countries.

The chairman of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, the chief of the Karachi Women's Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Pakistan and the chairperson of the Pakistan Association for Self-Reliance Studies praised the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung who founded the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, a genuine people's country, and turned it into a socialist state independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, and the world historic exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il who led the DPRK to invariably defend the banner of Juche and socialism despite the great international political upheavals.

The chairman and vice-chairpersons of the Socialist Party of Romania referred to the nation-building exploits of Kim Il Sung and the significance of the founding of a democratic, independent and sovereign state.

The chief of the Vienna Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in Austria, the chairman of the Korean Friendship Association UK, the chairman of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and the secretary general of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the DR Congo said that the founding of the DPRK was a historic event that heralds the birth of a genuine socialist state in which the people can lead an independent life as masters of everything. They noted that for over 70 years since its founding the DPRK has covered the road of victory and glory, regarding the Juche Idea as its invariable guideline.

Personages of the New Yugoslav Communist Party and the Serbian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un ensured that the people-first principle has been thoroughly applied to state activities.

Meanwhile, a joint seminar was held in Mongolia on September 2 to mark the 77th founding anniversary of the DPRK. -0-
