Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- Celebrations, meetings, seminars, round-table talks, lectures, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place in China, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Belarus, the UK, Italy, the Czech Republic and Mexico to commemorate the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Screened at the film shows were videos showing the brilliant history of the DPRK and beautiful looks of Pyongyang.

Speeches were made at the events.

The chairperson of the volunteer army research branch of the Chinese society for strategic and management studies and other speakers said that it is the unanimous will and unshakable choice of all the Korean people to invariably hold their leader Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the head of the WPK.

The chairperson of the Nepali Literary Forum for the Study of Juche said it is an expression of the absolute support and trust of all the Party members and other people in His Excellency Kim Jong Un that he was elected again as the general secretary of the powerful Party which has written the longest history in the world as a socialist ruling party.

The chairperson and the secretary general of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea and the chairperson of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee sincerely wished the Korean people bigger success in their struggle for accelerating the comprehensive development of socialism under the experienced leadership of the WPK headed by HE Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Korean Friendship Association UK and the chief of its Staffordshire branch referred to the eye-opening successes made by the DPRK over the past five years since the Eighth Congress of the WPK.

The president of the Group of Dialectical Materialists of Italy, the chief of the Firenze Group of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and the chief of the Milano Center for the Study of the Juche Idea of Italy said the DPRK, which has undergone remarkable development under the leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un, is demonstrating to the world its will to defend sovereignty, peace and justice.

The chairman of the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea said that the DPRK has made rapid progress in the efforts to bolster up the defence capabilities, develop the economy and improve the people's living standard for the past five years as the WPK has oriented all its activities to the sake of the people and worked hard for them.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico said that the Ninth Congress of the WPK is a historic one which set forth new goals and tasks for the next five years to strengthen the WPK and achieve ceaseless successes in all fields.

Congratulatory messages to the respected General Secretary of the WPK were adopted at the events held in China and Nepal. -0-
