Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- The quarterfinals for the 2026 AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup were held between DPRK and Thai teams on May 11.

The DPRK team succeeded in scoring around 17 and 20 minutes, and an own goal was made by a Thailand player around 45 minutes. It also scored about 47, 70 and 81 minutes in the match of the second half.

As a result, the DPRK women footballers defeated the Thai team 6:0 and advanced into the semi-finals. -0-
