Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Group D matches of the preliminary of the 2025-2026 AFC Women's Champions League took place in Laos.

The Naegohyang Team, which proved successful at the 2023-2024 DPRK women's premier football league, continued winning streak in the preliminary stage.

The Naegohyang team defeated the Master of Laos 11:0 on August 25, the RTC of Bhutan 7:0 on August 28 and the Kaohsiung Atackers of Taipei of China 5:0 on August 31, and advanced into the group stage of the 2025-2026 AFC Women's Champions League with the first place in the Group D at the preliminary stage.

The group stage, which will bring together 12 women's football teams, will be held in November this year. -0-
