Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a congratulatory message from Norodom Sihamoni, king of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on August 19.

The king in the message extended warm congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and the DPRK people on behalf of the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia and on his own behalf on the occasion of September 9, 2025, the 77th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The message said that the king sincerely and highly appreciates the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un for the firm development of the DPRK and happiness of all the people.

It expressed belief that the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the DPRK would get closer and widely develop for the interests of the peoples of the two countries.

The king wished Kim Jong Un good health and success in his work for the state and the DPRK people. -0-
