Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Memorial meetings, seminars and film shows were hosted by the Khabarovsk Territorial, the Amur Regional and the Maritime Territorial branch committees of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All-Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity", the Khabarovsk Youth Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and the DPRK in the Republic of Buryatia and the Far East State Science Library on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Present at the events were personages of political parties, the government, organizations and institutions of Russia and members of the organizations for the study of the Juche idea and the organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people.

Screened at the film shows were videos dealing with the noble revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il.

Speeches were made at the events.

Messages to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events. -0-
