Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- Such political and cultural events as meeting, seminar and stamp exhibition were held by political parties, organizations and institutions of Russia to celebrate the 114th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present at the events were personages of political parties, organizations and institutions, including Khabarovsk territorial, Amur regional and Maritime territorial branch committees of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Maritime Territorial Branch Council of the Socialist Political Party "For Just Russia", the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All-Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity", the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and the DPRK in the Republic of Buryatia, the Khabarovsk Youth Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Academy of Sciences, the Far East State Science Library and a stamp company and members of the Group for International Solidarity with the DPRK.

Speeches were made at the events.

Congratulatory messages to the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events. -0-
