Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- The DPRK embassy in Beijing hosted a reception on Jan. 26 on the occasion of the lunar New Year's Day.

Present there on invitation were Zhang Qingwei, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, and officials of Chinese relevant sectors including the Foreign Ministry, the International Liaison Department of the C.C., Communist Party of China, the Central Military Commission, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

DPRK Ambassador to China Ri Ryong Nam and members of his embassy attended the reception.
