Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a congratulatory message from Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, president of the Republic of Zimbabwe, on August 22.
The president in the message extended warm congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the government and people of the DPRK on behalf of the government and people of the Republic of Zimbabwe and on his own behalf on the occasion of the 77th founding anniversary of the great DPRK.
He reaffirmed the will to strengthen and develop the bilateral relations in mutual interests of the peoples of the two countries, celebrating the important occasion together with the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
He hoped that friendship and unity would be kept, noting that it is remarkable that the two countries are holding the historic relations in common.
He wished Kim Jong Un good health and the DPRK people durable peace and prosperity. -0-
