Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- The 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup is under way in Australia.

Divided into three groups, twelve teams will play league matches, and winners and runners-up from each group and two best third-placed teams will play knockout games.

The DPRK team, in the Group B together with the Uzbek, Bangladeshi and Chinese teams, advanced into the quarterfinals, with six points in total and as the second place in the group standing. -0-
