Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- The appearance of Sinuiju City, a border gateway city, has been renewed.

On the basis of the completion of fresh and unique layouts, builders of the city housing repair station and other units have finished tiling exterior walls of multi-storey houses covering hundreds of thousands of square meters or plastering them with colored mortar in a qualitative way by applying advanced building methods.

Amid the brisk remodeling project, they have paved the roads extending over 100 000 square meters, remade the exterior of public service amenities, created flower beds and decorated the city with electric light in a unique manner and the city passenger bus station has spruced up the bus stops.
