Papers Call for Building Socialist Paradises in Flood-hit Areas

Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK on Thursday editorially call for achieving miraculous successes in recovering from flood damage in hearty response to the decision of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

It is the revolutionary spirit and mettle peculiar to the Korean people to carry out any tasks given by the Party at any cost by dint of matchless patriotic devotion and rare creativity, Rodong Sinmun says in an editorial, and goes on:

Witnessing the epoch-making changes, the Korean people realized that any undertakings planned and carried out by the Party result in excellent successes, and this has been hardened as their faith. So they unanimously support and sincerely uphold any determination and choice of the Party.

The death-defying struggle for implementing the Party policies, waged by them who absolutely uphold the Party decisions and instructions, will bring about another great victory in the flood-hit areas where recovery projects are underway.

Our economic potentials, cemented under the banner of self-sustenance and self-reliance, serve as a firm guarantee for pushing ahead with any difficult and huge work without hesitation.

We can successfully build socialist paradises in flood-hit areas with our own strength and efforts as we have the powerful self-supporting economy and huge material and technological potentials.

Let us all turn out as one in the rehabilitation work to turn adversity into favorable conditions in hearty response to the decision of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee and thus demonstrate once again the true picture of the socialist country holding in high esteem the respected General Secretary held in high esteem as the great father.

Minju Joson says a sure victory is in store for the recovery campaign as there are the wise guidance of the great Party, the army and people boundlessly loyal to the Party and strong foundations of the self-supporting economy. -0-
