Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- The Wonhwa Farm in Phyongwon County, South Phyongan Province, the DPRK, harvested bumper crops this year at the fields with the honor of one of the 30 best farms.

The farm, which holds President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in high esteem as honorary farmers, is associated with the noble leadership of the peerlessly great men who devoted their all to turning Wonhwa-ri into a model of the socialist cultural countryside.

Thanks to the sincere efforts of the farm officials and working people who have devoted their patriotic sweats to every field while raising the enthusiasm for scientific farming all year round, the state grain production plan was fulfilled at 127.5 percent.

The farm held a meeting for year-end account settlement and income distribution on Nov. 16 with the pride of successfully concluding this year's farming.

Attending the meeting were Ri Kyong Chol, chief secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Yong Song, chairman of the provincial rural economy committee, officials concerned and agricultural workers. Han Song I, manager of the farm, made a report.

At the meeting, the shares were courteously presented to the President and the Chairman.

After the distribution of cashes to the farmers, the production rankings of workteams and sub-workteams were announced and speeches made.

The agricultural workers danced to the tune of cheerful peasant music, expressing boundless gratitude to the motherly Party for providing them with joy and happiness. -0-
