Ploughing of Farm Fields Propelled in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- Agricultural Officials and workers in the DPRK are pushing ahead with the ploughing of paddy and dry fields in hearty response to the resolutions made at the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Officials of the Agricultural Commission and the provincial rural economy committees have carried on the meticulous operations and guidance over the work to carry out the ploughing plan.

Kangryong County of South Hwanghae Province concentrates efforts and means on ploughing, thus covering large areas everyday.

Farms in North Hwanghae Province are pushing ahead with farming processes as planned by raising enthusiasm for emulation and solving the problem of machine parts needed for increasing the operation rate of farm machines.

Counties in South Phyongan Province are ensuring both speed and quality in ploughing through a mass technical innovation movement.
