Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- A sewing competition as part of the "Contest of Skilled Workers with Different Jobs in Various Sectors of National Economy-2025" took place in Ryanggang Province.

It brought together dozens of skilled workers from 10-odd units in Pyongyang and local areas.

The contest was aimed at raising the quality of school uniforms and bag production to a higher level and further raising the technical knowledge and levels of skilled workers. It applied such methods as evaluating the preparations for tools and the production amount and quality of each participating unit.

The participants in the competition strove to make their products famous ones.

They explored practical ways to improve product quality and shared experience with each other.

After the competition, the standings were announced and trophies, diplomas and medals were awarded to the excellent skilled workers. -0-
