Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation arrived here on October 8 to visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture of the DPRK on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The delegation includes Russian popular singers Shaman and Aleksandra Vorobiyoba and her party, and artistes of the Russian State Academic People's Chorus Named after M. E. Pyatnichki and the "Todec" Ballet Theater Named after Alla Duhoba and the Air and Space Forces Ensemble of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The delegation was greeted at Pyongyang International Airport by officials of the Ministry of Culture of the DPRK, officials concerned and the minister-councilor of the Russian embassy here. -0-
