Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- DPRK players returned home after taking part in the 1st CISM Pre-University Education Schools Tournament.

The tournament, held in Tula of Russia from June 24 to 29, brought together more than 270 men and women players from nine countries including the DPRK, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

The DPRK players bagged 29 medals in total, including 11 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 8 bronze medals in volleyball (men and women), boxing, swimming and shooting.

They were greeted by officials concerned and their families at Pyongyang International Airport on Monday. -0-
