Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- November 17 is the 65th anniversary of the Mansudae Art Studio in the DPRK.

Since its foundation, the Mansudae Art Studio has developed into a comprehensive art studio of the country and a center for developing Juche-oriented fine art under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Its creators opened up a new path of creating works depicting the leaders through the work to erect the statues of the President and the Chairman at the highest level across the country.

The Samjiyon Grand Monument, the Tower of the Juche Idea, the Arch of Triumph, the International Friendship Exhibition House, the Sci-Tech Complex, the Natural History Museum, the Mausoleum of King Tangun and many other grand monuments and edifices are associated with the efforts of the creators.

Korean painting "An Evening Glow over Kangson", Korean jewel paintings "Snow Falls" and "Pigeon Dance", and ivory work "Mangyongdae in April" and other famous works enriched the treasure house of the Juche-oriented fine art.

Famous works of the studio were highly appreciated over 100 times at international expositions.

So the studio won Order of Kim Il Sung and Order of Kim Jong Il. And it has produced many talented creators, including Kim Il Sung Prize winners, Kim Jong Il Prize winners, Labor Heroes, People's Artists and Merited Artists. -0-
