Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- An exhibition of regional-industry goods is under way in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.

Presented to the exhibition are hundreds of thousands of pieces of goods of over 280 kinds presented by more than 50 units in the regional industry sector, including the modern regional-industry factories built under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Susongchon General Foodstuff Factory and the Chongjin Condiments Factory.

The Kyongsong County Foodstuff Factory and the Orang County Seafood Processing Factory presented tasty and nutritious foodstuffs such as jelly of matrimony vine fruit, bread and salt-pickled Alaska Pollack.

The Kilju County Daily Necessities Factory, Sunam District in Chongjin City and Onsong County put on display laundry soaps, powder soaps and basins.

Drawing the attention of visitors were straw hats, straw cushions and stone flowerpots made by working people in Kim Chaek City and Puryong and Hwadae counties by using raw and other materials abundant in their regions.

Kim Tu Il, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the provincial people's committee, officials concerned and working people looked round the venue of the exhibition. -0-
