Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- Solidarity meetings took place in Britain and Germany on June 25 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.
Present at the meetings were personages of progressive political parties of Britain and members of foreign organizations for friendship and solidarity with the DPRK people, including the Korean Friendship Association UK and the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany.
Speeches were made at the meetings.

The U.S. imperialists blustered that the DPRK could not rise up on its feet for a hundred years, but the DPRK has developed into the world's strongest country with a tremendous nuclear deterrent, he said.
The chairman of the Korean Friendship Association UK said that June 25, 1950 was recorded in history as the day of aggression when the U.S. imperialists ignited the Korean war, adding that this day is becoming the day of solidarity extending support and encouragement to the DPRK people firmly defending the just cause, their beloved country and the socialist system and the day of struggle against the U.S. imperialists.
He stressed that the friends of the DPRK in Britain would always be with the DPRK people who are dynamically advancing along the road of socialism and justice. -0-
