Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on Wednesday to mark the Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Present there were Jon Chol Hi, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, officials and employees of relevant units, persons with disabilities and their families.

Speeches were made at the meeting.

At the meeting, donation certificates were awarded to those who actively support persons with disabilities and the achievements made in the work to protect the disabled were introduced.

The participants in the meeting watched a video dealing with the work to protect the disabled in recent years and looked round the exhibits presented by persons with disabilities. -0-
