Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- O Kyong Ryong, wrestler of the Pyongyang Sports Club, was listed as the one of the ten best players for 2025 in the DPRK.

She won gold medals at the 2025 Asian Wrestling Championship and the 2025 World Wrestling Championship to become the Asian and world champion in the women's wrestling 55kg category.

Born in Jongju City, North Phyongan Province, she learned basic wrestling skills at the extracurricular sports school of the Pyongyang Sports Club from the age of 12.

She won a gold medal in the women's 49kg category of the 2015 Asian junior wrestling championship and made good results at international games with various techniques.

She is training hard with a resolve to live up to the expectation of the country and the people with excellent successes in the future games. -0-
