Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out Volume 114 of the book "Among the People", a winner of Kim Il Sung Prize, on the occasion of the 114th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

The book "Among the People", which has been brought out in serial volumes to be popular among the public for 64 years, is a national treasure of Juche Korea showing the unshakable faith and will of all the people to add eternal glory to the revolutionary career and exploits of the President.

The newly published volume contains 16 memoirs dealing with the wise leadership and noble personality of the President who devoted his whole life to the prosperity of the country and happiness of the people.

Since Vol. 1 was brought out on the occasion of the 50th birth anniversary of the President, serials of the book have been brought out continuously. They contain thousands of memoirs written by anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, officials of the Party and power organs and working people's organizations, workers, farmers, intellectuals, bereaved families of the revolutionary and patriotic martyrs, honored disabled soldiers, servicepersons' families and overseas compatriots.

Vol. 1 was published in March 1962 and Vol. 52 in July 1994 when the President passed away.

People from all walks of life still write memoirs even after his demise to convey the greatness of the peerlessly great man to posterity. -0-
