Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- The Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea hosted a reception at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on the evening of August 14 in welcome of the delegation of the State Duma of the Russian Federation which paid a congratulatory visit to the DPRK on the occasion of the 80t h anniversary of national liberation.

Present there on invitation were a delegation of the State Duma of the Russian Federation led by Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, Russian Ambassador to the DPRK Aleksandr Matsegora and staff members of the Russian embassy.

Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Kang Yun Sok, vice-chairman of the SPA Standing Committee, Pak In Chol, chairman of the SPA, Kim Jong Gyu, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and officials concerned.

Speeches were made by Choe Ryong Hae and Vyacheslav Volodin.

The participants in the reception toasted the health of Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and the health of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, president of the Russian Federation.

The reception proceeded in an atmosphere of comradeship and friendship. -0-
