Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- The Korean Children's Union, which has steadily carried forward the glorious tradition of the Anti-Japanese Children's Corps, is greeting its 80th founding anniversary.
The respected fatherly Marshal
In his speech at the joint national meeting of the KCU organizations on June 6, 2012 to celebrate its 66th birthday, he indicated the path for the development of the Korean children's movement.
The speech "Let KCU Members Become True Sons and Daughters, Young Revolutionaries, of the Socialist Country", made by him at the Eighth Congress of the KCU on June 6, 2017, served as an ideological weapon for preserving the character and nature of the KCU and enhancing the role of its organizations.
On several occasions, he set forth the tasks and ways for ushering in a new heyday of the KCU work.
The Ninth Congress of the KCU was held here in December 2022.
The respected fatherly Marshal, who took a benevolent measure to prepare the congress of KCU members at the same level of the Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, sent a letter to make the congress an occasion for educating all the KCU members across the country.
A grand short course for KCU instructors from schools across the country was held for the first time in the country under the care of the respected fatherly Marshal. This marked an epoch-making occasion in bringing about a new development in the work of KCU organizations at schools.
As they are led by the respected fatherly Marshal, the KCU members could grow up to be genuine young revolutionaries and young patriots remaining faithful to their pledge made in front of the KCU flag.
The future of socialist Korea will be brighter thanks to the great father who gives the KCU members all blessings of the world, saying that Korea in the future belongs to the KCU members and the future of the country is reflected in their appearance. This is the firm truth cherished by the Korean people in the course of the new era of the Juche revolution. -0-
