Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- The Constitutions Institute of Koryo Medicine General Hospital in the DPRK has developed the Koryo medicine-based system 2.0 of classifying human constitutions, according to Rodong Sinmun.
The system is composed of categories of constitutional examination and knowledge.
The constitutional examination analyzes the constitution by examining relevant indices reflecting the structural elements of constitutions through verbal and ocular inspection, voice analysis, constitutional elements analysis and 3-D constitutional probing. The constitutional knowledge tells daily regimen, prescriptions and therapies suited to different constitutions, including constitutional characteristics and know-how in regimen.
The system helps minimize the morbidity and prevent diseases by classifying the human constitutions more accurately and informing the users of the appropriate regimen and methods of treatment. In addition it makes it possible to conduct a scientific diagnosis according to constitutions, thus shortening the period of treatment and increasing the effect of treatment.
In December last year, the medical workers of the institute, who made achievements conducive to the development of Koryo medicine, were awarded the certificate of application of state sci-tech achievements. -0-
