Agricultural Workers Move into New Houses in South Hwanghae Province

Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- Amid the ever-changing appearance of the rural areas under the grandiose plan for the rural development in the new era, the dream of the people have been realized at the Rajinpho Farm in Yonan County, South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.

Beautiful appearance of the new villages in the vast Yonbaek plains is a fruition of the unshakable will and ardent love of the Workers' Party of Korea which set it as an important policy task to turn all the rural villages across the country into cultural ideal villages in the near future.

Single- and low-storied and terraced dwelling houses for several hundred flats are convenient for the living of agricultural workers. And newly planted peach, pear, thuja, bamboo willow and other trees add beauty to the villages.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on May 15.

Present there were Pak Thae Dok, chief secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of the Party and power organs, builders and agricultural workers to move into new houses in Yonan County.

A congratulatory speech was made by So Hak Song, vice-chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People's Committee. Then licenses for the use of new houses were handed over and speeches made there.

Moving into new houses began amid cheerful dances.

Officials visited the owners of new houses to congratulate them, sharing joy with them. -0-
