Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- New houses were built at Choun Farm in Hamhung City and Ssangbong Farm in Hoesang District, South Hamgyong Province when the number of modern socialist rural villages has been on the increase every year.

Modern low- and single-storied and terraced dwelling houses built in harmony with the magnificent appearance of the industrial city visually show the transformation in the era of the Workers' Party of Korea when the countryside is undergoing changes and prospering.

Present at the ceremonies for moving into new houses were officials in South Hamgyong Province, Sapho District and Hoesang District, builders and agricultural workers. Congratulatory speeches were made there.

Then licenses for use of houses were handed over and speeches were made.

Amid congratulatory performances and cheerful dancing parties, officials of the Party and power organs visited the owners of new houses and shared joy with them. -0-
