Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- A 2024 winter aesthetic symposium in the field of city management took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in the DPRK on Tuesday through video conferencing.

Present there were Im Kyong Jae, minister of Urban Management, officials, scientists and technicians in the city management sector and relevant fields of Pyongyang and provinces.

A video on road management was screened at the symposium.

Speakers called for making innovations in road management to thoroughly ensure durability, modernity and security and provide the people with better living conditions and environment.

They stressed the need to produce more Korean-style vehicles necessary for city management by pushing ahead with the work to develop machines suited to the world trend of development and the specific conditions of the country.

They called for steadily raising the level of scientification and mechanization of road management and thus bringing a fundamental improvement in road management. -0-
