Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- North Phyongan Province in the DPRK has striven to implement the childcare policy of the Workers' Party of Korea, thus renovating nearly 400 production rooms for dairy products, secured tens of thousands of goats and built many goat farms and branch farms.
The remodeling of the production rooms for dairy products in a short span of time laid material and technical foundations for producing more and good-quality tasty and nutritious dairy products for children.
The province pushed ahead with the work to increase the number of goats, thus securing tens of thousands of goats and increasing milk production. It opened up a prospect for solving the feed problem by increasing grass area.
It accelerated the construction of large goat pen in the relevant area of Sinuiju City.
Goat farms and branch farms were built in Jongju City, Sakju and Tongnim counties and other areas. -0-
