Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- The 17th enlarged plenary meeting of the Tenth Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League took place on Thursday.

Present there were members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the youth league.

Officials of the SPYL Central Committee and youth league officials from ministries, national agencies, provinces, cities and counties were on hand as observers.

The enlarged plenary meeting discussed the measures for carrying through the important tasks set forth in the historic policy speech the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made at the First Session of the 15th Supreme People's Assembly.

The meeting studied the tasks and ways for the youth league organizations to intensify information and motivation activities for making the youth league officials and members deeply grasp the idea and spirit of the policy speech and powerfully arousing them to their implementation.

It also discussed in depth the ways for more dynamically conducting the socialist patriotic movement, the revolutionary mass movement, including socialist emulation, mass technical innovation movement, youth shock brigade activities, do-good-thing movement, and thus making a positive contribution to implementing the new long-term plan set forth at the Party Congress.

It stressed the importance of the matter for the youth league organizations to conduct in various forms and methods the effective education for more thoroughly establishing the socialist way of life and the moral discipline and to intensify the organizational struggle.

Adopted at the enlarged plenary meeting was a relevant decision on the basis of the study and discussion of its draft.
