Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- Finals of the basketball tournament of officials of ministries and national agencies-2025 took place at the Basketball Gymnasium in Chongchun Street on Thursday.

The tournament brought together units under the Cabinet.

The teams of the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Electric Power Industry advanced into the final stage of the tournament which started on August 18.

Among the spectators were Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, and other senior government officials, officials in the sports field and officials of ministries and national agencies.

The team of the State Planning Commission defeated its rival and won the victory in the tournament.

After the finals, the rotating pennant and trophy cup were awarded to the organization and players who proved successful at the basketball tournament. -0-
