Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- The workers at the Chollima Steel Complex in the DPRK are pressing ahead with the project for expanding the production capacity with the fighting spirit of self-reliance and perseverance.
Giving precedence to supply of heavy machines and materials and making the builders adhere to technical regulations, the complex completed the excavation of the foundation of the 60-ton UHP electric arc furnace and a project for dozens of pile foundation.
The workers at the Metal Construction Company and the Kangson Industrial Construction Company are fulfilling their daily plans for making structures like a crane girder needed for the construction work.
Workers and technicians of the automation and repair workshops who have turned out in the construction of an electrode production base increased the work efficiency by rationally remodeling the mixers. As a result, they finished the excavation of the core pool and concrete placing ahead of schedule.
