Taekwon-Do Teams and Universities Introduce Scientific Research Achievements into Teaching and Training

Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- Taekwon-Do teams and universities across the DPRK have introduced significant achievements in putting teaching and training on a scientific and IT basis.

The Taekwon-Do teams of Kangwon Province and South Hwanghae Province developed an electronic-style subcutaneous fat measuring equipment and a system for measuring the exercise ability for assessing the players' physical abilities and conducting teaching and training guidance in a scientific way.

The North Hwanghae Provincial Taekwon-Do Team, which made an educational intelligence tactical training model necessary for explaining countermeasures and tactical movements according to the sudden situation in the sparring match, is expanding the tactical insight of the players.

Teachers and researchers of Kangwon Provincial Taekwon-Do University and the South Hamgyong Provincial Taekwon-Do Team introduced training apparatuses effective for measuring different movements and punching speed of players and training them in agility, thus increasing the physical and technical abilities of students and players.

South Phyongan Provincial Taekwon-Do University published books on Taekwon-Do training and guidance methods to inspire the students with enthusiasm for study. -0-
