Pyongyang, May 11 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Hosiery Factory in the DPRK has been selected as one of the ten best enterprises for the second straight year.

The factory made big strides in producing multi-colored products by introducing rational dyeing methods.

It made progress in diversifying the products by designing lots of hosiery and brands for the last year through regular discussions on designs and exhibitions of new products. And its industrial technology institute renewed the equipment and control program to suit the actual conditions.

The factory laid a reliable foundation for the growth of production by increasing the proportion of home-made supplementary materials used in dyeing process and introducing scores of valuable technical innovations.

It has successfully carried out its monthly national economic plans by operating each machine at full capacity, while producing various kinds of functional hosiery.

Its workers are now making uninterrupted innovations and progress to develop and turn out quality products in larger quantities. -0-
