Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- Coal miners in the sector of coal industry in the DPRK are making successes in securing reserve cutting faces.

Hundreds of reserve cutting faces were provided during high-speed tunneling campaign under the Ministry of Coal Industry.

The Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex secured over 100 reserve cutting faces.

The Pukchang Area Youth Coal-mining Complex increased the number of reserve cutting faces as compared with the same period last year.

The members of the Cha Kwang Su Youth Shock Brigade of the Namyang Coal Mine and the High-speed Tunneling Platoon of the Pit No. 5 and the High-speed Tunneling Platoon of the Taesong Pit of the Hyongbong Coal Mine under the Tokchon Area Coal-mining Complex are introducing rational working methods and providing a guarantee for increased coal production.

Coal mines of Tukjang, Kaechon, Kujang, Chonnae, Kyongwon area coal-mining complexes are expanding the reserve cutting faces through the socialist emulation among high-speed tunneling units. -0-
