Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- The 2024 National Foodstuff Exhibition closed with due ceremony at the Pyongyang Yokjon Department Store on April 2.

Presented to the exhibition were various kinds of foodstuffs produced by officials and workers in the food industry.

During the exhibition, there were an experience-sharing meeting and a sci-tech presentation on the creation of designs, technical preparations and improvement of quality indices and a short course on the issues arising in the production of wheat-based condiments.

Highly appreciated at the exhibition were foodstuffs presented by Songdowon, Paekunsan and Jangjasan general foodstuff factories, the Kimhwa County Foodstuff Factory, the Taedonggang Beer Factory and the Kanggye Condiments Factory.

Present at the closing ceremony were Ho Chol San, vice minister of Regional Industry, officials concerned and officials, technicians and employees of the exhibiting units. -0-
