Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- The Central Sports School in the DPRK has made successes by introducing new teaching methods.

Many teachers of the school obtained the qualification of October 8 Model Professor and advanced new teaching and training methods conducive to raising the scientific level of sports teaching.

Such events as panel discussion on teaching, show of multimedia teaching programs and experience-sharing meeting were organized to improve the quality of sports education. In the course, over 150 pieces of experimental apparatuses and teaching aids of dozens of kinds were invented.

The school has concentrated its efforts on the study of basic science including sports psychology and strengthened the basic education of persons with suitable physical constitution.

This year alone, its students won eight trophies and at least 350 medals at domestic games including the DPRK Championships. Ri Suk, its player, set new world records at the 2024 IWF World Championships to demonstrate the honor of the country. -0-
