Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- The regional-industry factories, which were built as the first entities in implementing the regional development policy in the new era, are mass-producing the quality products favoured by the people.

The Kusong City Foodstuff Factory is developing new products by relying on the favourable natural and geographical conditions and economic foundations of the city abundant in wild fruit and with solid foundation of fruit farming.

The Yonthan County Daily Necessities Factory has steadily developed new products on the basis of the successes made in production of quality laundry soaps with locally available raw materials and thus produced detergent, washing powder, shampoo, conditioner and liquid soap.

The Hamju County Garment Factory has newly secured several pieces of modern knitwear equipment and produced various types of knitwear to meet the daily-growing demand of the inhabitants for clothes.

Similar successes have been made in Jangphung and Tongsin county foodstuff factories, Ichon and Onchon county daily necessities factories and Kim Hyong Jik and Unchon county garment factories. -0-
