Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, Kim Il Sung University has newly developed an advanced analytical equipment of Korean style for the large-sized oxygen separator of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex.

The equipment, first introduced into the oxygen plant workshop No. 3, is an infrared gas analyzer capable of measuring with very high precision the concentration of infinitesimal quantity of carbon dioxide, that is urgently needed for the operation of oxygen separators.

The development of the advanced analytical equipment, vital to the operation of large-sized oxygen separators, laid a material and technical foundation for putting the operation of oxygen separators on a scientific basis.

With the introduction of the newly-manufactured infrared gas analyzer, the oxygen plant workshop No. 3 is now making progress in the scientific and normal operation of the large-sized oxygen separator. -0-
