Staff of C.C., WPK and Defence Ministry Plant Turfs at Heroes' Cemetery Area of Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at Overseas Military Operations

Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The sacred place where the heroic feats of the martyrs will go down forever in history is filled with the respect of all the people and servicepersons in the DPRK for the brave soldiers who sacrificed their precious lives for defending the inviolable dignity and honor of the country in the overseas military operations.

Under a plan of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, staff of the WPK Central Committee and the Ministry of National Defence planted turfs at the heroes' cemetery area of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at Overseas Military Operations on March 20.

They were joined by secretaries of the WPK Central Committee including Kim Jae Ryong and Ri Il Hwan, members of the Presidium of its Political Bureau, and commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence.

They planted every blade of turfs with sincerity to finish greening the heroes' cemetery area, recollecting the proud sons of the country.

The staff of the WPK Central Committee and the Ministry of National Defence were more firmly convinced that the Memorial Museum, to be inaugurated before long, would shine forever as a platform of immortality praising the worthwhile life of the heroic soldiers and a symbol of the most righteous state and people and the strongest army. -0-
