August Name Shining All Over World

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- With his rare wisdom, outstanding leadership ability and noble virtue, President Kim Il Sung glorified the 20th century as a century of independence and set an example in the world history of the revolution and construction.

That's why the progressive mankind named at least 480 streets, institutions and organizations of more than 100 countries after Kim Il Sung till the late 1990s, reflecting the will to convey his immortal revolutionary exploits forever.

In 1945, workers belonging to a political party of Costa Rica formed the Kim Il Sung Cell with deep reverence for the President who was building a new society where the people became masters with his experienced and seasoned leadership.

The Chinese party and government formed the Kim Il Sung Class at Beijing Middle School No. 5 in November 1950.

In the 1970s, groups for studying his works, committees for the study of works, groups for the study of the Juche idea and groups for reading works named after the august name of the President were organized one after another in many countries.

Prominent figures of political, social and academic circles of different countries established the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council in New Delhi of India on the occasion of the 81st birth anniversary of the President.

The ardent desire of the world progressives to glorify his immortal exploits forever, holding in high esteem the august name of the President, is still expressed even after his demise.

A ceremony of naming Generalissimo Kim Il Sung Street took place with splendor and the signboard of the street was unveiled in Cambodia in November 1994 and the Kim Il Sung Library, the Kim Il Sung Class and others were formed in many countries.

The ceaseless establishment of units and organizations bearing the august name of the President in the five continents of the world is an expression of the praise of all people for the precious exploits performed by him for the country, revolution and mankind. -0-
